About the Role:
Our client, a reputable organization in Orange County, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for salaried and hourly employees.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings and reports.
• Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring accurate employee records.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to manage employee benefits, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
• Respond to and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
• Lead payroll audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, or similar platforms) and tax regulations.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
