About the Role
Are you a passionate, motivated clinician currently enrolled in a graduate program and pursuing certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)? Are you looking to accrue supervised fieldwork hours while building strong clinical, parent education, and leadership skills in the natural environment?
As an ABA Intern, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Under the direct supervision of a BCBA, you will gain hands-on experience while mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), coaching caregivers, and developing your clinical expertise.
This role is ideal for graduate-level candidates seeking high-quality supervision, real-world application, and professional growth while completing BCBA coursework and fieldwork requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with a clinical team of BCBAs and RBTs  to provide in-home and community-based ABA services
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals under BCBA guidance
  • Conduct assessments, including but not limited to:
    • Vineland
    • AFLS
    • VB-MAPP
    • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
  • Provide direct 1:1 therapy services to individuals diagnosed with autism 
  • Development of behavior intervention plans
  • Deliver parent training and coaching to support skill generalization
  • Train, supervise, and support RBTs in clinical implementation
  • Maintain accurate session notes, data collection, and clinical reports
  • Uphold professionalism standards, continue professional development, remain in HIPPA compliance, and follow TASKids professional practice guidelines.  

Who You Are
  • Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
  • Currently enrolled in or nearing completion of BCBA coursework and fieldwork hours
  • Experience with—or strong interest in—conducting assessments and leading clinical teams
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and committed to ethical and evidence-based practices
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to pass background check and TB clearance

Physical Demands:

  • Full physical dexterity/agility to perform required movements (bending, kneeling, typing, etc.).

  • Sufficient vision to carry out duties.

  • Ability to lift and carry pediatric clients (5 to 50 lbs.).
